Six outdoor games; that borders on the silly.

Let it snow.

the weather is sketchy enough in January. I don't get why they think March is better.
Oh and Rossi says he got it from Dredger

I'm sorry. This is just getting ridiculous. From fun, special event to blatant money grab. Enough.

If this is true i am glad it is in Chicago, the blackhawks have a superior ice crew.

I would be embarrassed to have the U.S. see dudes in our ice crew, its just embarrassing.

6 games that is stupid, just plain stupid. I can see 2 in a year, but 6?? The outdoor game is going to fall by the way side with this many games.

and 5 games in 9 days???? stupid. Maybe the Chicago ice girls will make me feel better.

I love it, since I can get to Chicago a lot easier than I can get to any other NHL city, and there should be tickets available.

I want to like this idea, I just can't. The only winter classic that felt truly special to me was the first one in Buffalo thanks obviously to the Pens playing but also due to the weather/atmosphere. The rest were okay but nothing great. The one in Pittsburgh was a disaster on all fronts.

Time to spin the wheel of injury, sponsored by Geno's Sun Burn. In Russia, Geno burns the sun.

I'm so over the outdoor stuff.

1 game of year, at noon, on jan 1st....was awesome, enough, and perfect.

It's such a joke now.

OK, I'll take your word for it. I just imagine March everywhere as 23 one day and 58 the next

Being in LA, I have to say I'm kind of excited. It's going to be a mess, logistics wise, for hockey, but it'll be a damn cool event at Dodgers Stadium.

i guess it is a supossed we're sorry by the league for the lockout - yeah right.

the outdoor game may look cool on tv, but its pretty much a joke of a game because of the ice conditions and not a good viewing experience attending live. if you actually want to see well played hockey and have a great viewing experience save your money and go to a playoff game.
