Americans primarily use gray, Brits and Aussies primarily use grey, nothing wrong with either

Got this wrong on a spelling test in 6th grade. My family owned greyhounds at the time. Stupid "gray".

I used to use gray, but for some reason I've switched to using grey. Both spellings are very old and are equally acceptable.

Doesn't matter. I usually use grey, because to me it looks more like what the word means, if that makes sense. a's looks brighter than e's.

I acually looked it up myself not so long ago, as I wasn't sure what to use. I decided to go with 'gray'.
