WAY too many dzone breakdowns and chances given up. We better figure it out before we play Boston.

I've never seen someone go from one extreme to another so quickly. I know this game felt like the shootout we played back in Montreal, but it really wasn't. Yes there were some breakdowns, but If this team comes out like this most nights and lays the body and gets goals like they got tonight... they will be in good shape.

Yeah. That wasn't obscene. That was "hey, remember when I had you in a headlock?"

And if we have breakdowns like we did, and Fleury plays like he did tonight (which can easily happen with him), then we're in trouble.

I know we're hurt, but we still need to tighten up in our end and in our structure.

The score flatters Montreal. A lot. Most of the 3rd was garbage time. This was not at all like the 7-6 game.

The Pens will be fine if they play like this next month.

Yes, just didn't understand the incomplete sentence and wasn't a mind reader.

Thanks for the clarification.

That game didn't feel like the 7-6 game to me, the Pens got a little sloppy after the game got out of hand, but they played very well overall IMO.

On a negative note, I hope that it's nothing serious with Jokinen or Vitale.

Agreed. The game was over when it was 5-1. We crushed them physically

Agreed, we did a LOT of great things that we need to do come playoff time. Our physical play was off the charts, but we started to get careless and got into a river hockey type game at times and gave up too many chances that we shouldn't have. That was my point.

However, our physical play and the new players looking more comfy is a huge plus.
