Will Ipod just shuffle through the top rated or are you just making a playlist?

My iPod automatically makes a playlist for my top rated, I assume most do. So I go into that playlist and then just set it to shuffle.

I've been on a huge Violent Femmes and Talking Heads kick lately. I don't think that's a bad thing at all.

About four years ago, the then GF and I had tickets to see David Byrne.
I got super sick with a sore throat and couldn't crawl out of bed and she called a friend at the last minute.

He played a mostly early Talking Heads set.

Oh, that sucks.

I still haven't listened to his album with St. Vincent.

(I couldn't resist and listened to Born Under Punches and The Overload. But I'll go to bed now.)

Listened to the first two albums of The Old Ceremony (self-titled, and our one mistake). :thumb: I am a fan, though I don't have a ton of interest in the others, since it seems they're a bit less keys-driven and a bit more reverb-y.

it seems like there have been a few versions out on youtube thus far, but the track i heard was pretty decent. more of a discovery-esque, disco-ish sound. kenny the kangaroo was a bit worried that DP would fall into skrillex/dubbstep/edm/scratchky skreechy stuff that seems to be popular, but based on the song they have released and what has been written, that does not seem to be the case.

Daft Punk did nothing for me after their classic debut. Except for that one great song on their 2nd album... forgot the name. Digital Love.

Hey, their forthcoming is only their 4th?

I only have limited knowledge of Daft Punk's back catalog but their work on the Tron:Legacy soundtrack is quality.
