So 2 games to win it....vs NJ and CAR right?

1. Bylsma needs to put him on a full time line with Geno and Iggy.
2. Sid needs to play the whole 2 min on Pp.
3. No need for defense as we already won the conference so these games are meaningless so he can just sit at the blue line waiting for a pass.
4. Gary...please make sure your officials give us 5 pp for each of these games. K thx.
5. I assume Peters will start for Carolina..yes? Good cause he is awful and we could light him up for 7. To be sure send over some of pittsburghs finest the night before to wear him down.

We're winning this damn award.

Is this a parody account or something?

Nah dude it's legit. I want to see him win it bad. We need to go the extra mile for Sid given all he has done for us.

I will take the title by hook or crook I don't care...just get it done.

I promise every time the puck hits my stick, I'll be looking to set Crosby up.

If AO takes that team to a Cup, he'll have earned it and I will have all of the respect in the world for him, even though I'll continue to root against him.

Sweet. Make sure not to shoot it into the empty net either unless you got a pass from him or you are sure he passed it to the guy who got it to you.

Be conservative....if u r unsure just reverse it back behind our own net.

I want Sid to win the Art Ross its been in the Burgh on and off for so long it kinda has a home here.

But if SId is ok with no having it i am more than OK. Its just always nice to know his great career with have thoes trophys associated with it. But i guess there is no better trophy to add to your career than another cup.

I didn't want to make a new thread for a funny tweet so I thought I'd throw in here:

@JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs Armstrong is growing his playoff "throatee". Not at all attractive but he still says it's nicer than his pal Crosby's playoff stache.

Drives me nuts - no doubt who the best player in the league was this year (and we can argue "best guy for his team stuff all night long), and its not like Sid missed over half the season or something.

Toews... in terms of best players of his era? he's not even a has been, he's a never was.

Good for him. I angrily posted his article earlier where he said he was picking Toews. I think Toews is a great player but I just don't really see an argument where you can take him over both Sid and Tavares. If you go by best player, it's Sid. If you go by most valuable to his team, I would say it's Tavares. Hopefully Sid can come back for a couple regular season games and grab the Art Ross to make the debate moot.

Shelly anderson.....says crosby feels pretty good but doesnt think there is enough healing time for his jaw to play before the playoffs.

-who knows about about being ready for the start of the playoffs. 8 days until they start. My guess is probably not.

Best player in the league is what the Lindsay is there for. I'd say he's still the Hart winner, but the argument that there is no doubt who the best player in the league was is really not relevant in a Hart discussion.

Looking likely for Ottawa. Don't need to play Crosby or Malkin...or the NHL team.

Rossi keeps stating on triblive with Dejan that Crosby is really close and wants to get in a game or two on the tail end of the season. Shelly Anderson is reporting the exact opposite. Hmm...

Rossi is reporting the same thing that most fans have speculated all along with no actual basis in fact. Logically, a player would like to get a few games before the playoffs, but if they're not ready, they're not ready.
