Indeed, very cool story. Hope your mom is doing well.

As a side question, I wonder how many buckets of fried chicken Big Snack needs to eat before he is willing to share with other people.

He did not order the new boneless KFC, however, in his bucket there were still no bones left.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/24/harrison-contract-shows-what-a-beating-he-took/

According to Howard Balzer of the Sports Xchange, Harrison’s new two-year deal with the Bengals is worth $4.45 million, including a $1.2 million signing bonus.

The deal includes base salaries of $1.4 million and $1.1 million, workout bonuses of $100,000 each year, and per-game roster bonuses which could total $300,000 this year and $250,000 next year. That means his maximum payout this year is $3 million. Compare that to the what he could have made in Pittsburgh, and he clearly lost this offseason.

According to an earlier report, Harrison turned down a 30 percent pay cut from the Steelers, which included a chance to earn the balance back in incentives. Based on the $6.57 million in base salary he would have received before he was released, that comes out to around $4.5 million this year.

Oops. Guess his agent will be looking for a new job.

I know a joke, but all those "HARRISON HATES THE STEELERS!!!" talk... He stated he has no ill will and the reason he was interested in the Ravens / Cinci is because he wanted to go to a contender and still stay close to Pittsburgh as he plans to continue to live there

Man, any time you can take a guy that manhandled Eastern Michigan's defensive ends, you have to take him first overall.

Yeah, I had no idea the draft actually started tonight until earlier this afternoon. Of course, I don't watch college football, so I don't have strong attachments to or opinions of most of the guys drafted. I'd rather the whole draft take place in one day and I can start reading the reports that tell me who these players are and who won the draft (I'm not sure if the 2nd part of that statement is sarcastic or not).
