Anyone ever listen to fat freddys drop? My kiwi pal put it on last night, pretty cool stuff. Hi-tek soul is how they describe it

I like most stuff with a reggae beat, so those freddys sound cool to me.

You guys get into Visual Kei? Guys dressed up as video game queens, but the music is so good, I take it very seriously. In some ways, it's better than traditional metal. Usually very melodic, and yes, heavy and talented.

One of my music life's great regrets will be never making the trip to his barn for a Ramble.

I had tickets to the last ramble before he died and my friends backed out on me... had to sell my tickets. I'm still devastated by it.

Going to see Joy Formidable, Fort Lean, and You Won't tonight. I saw You Won't open for Lumineers. They were meh. I'll be curious if I have the same reaction tonight. Don't really know much about the other two.

Depends on the draft list at Rivertahn, I guess. I don't mind a couple of the You Won't songs.

The Rob Zombie song... eh, it sounds like Rob Zombie. I never could figure out what his story is or why some people put him in the metal category. He's basically party rock, other than his raspy voice, from what little I have listened to over the years. I find his music shallow, but I suppose it could be fun to jump around to. That's just based on the little effort I spent listening to him, so I could be wrong.
