More nervous or excited

Postby MarioLives on Wed Apr 24, 2013 12:41 pm

With the playoffs starting in a few days and the place that the Penguins put themselves in with a remarkable season (11 losses, are you kidding me??) do you find yourself more excited or nervous for this playoff run? I am excited to watch what unfolds, I think my nervousness will go away if they win the first round.

Nervous for game 1. If they win, then I calm back down. If they were to lose game 1, I'd be really nervous.

Overall, I'm excited for this playoffs though. I got a good feeling.

And because I can't resist....

That's a lie cause they could play the caps in round 3. :slug:

Well, since I can't talk about the potential for that to happen, you know who will start stalking again, lets just say if that does happen, I might need medication.....my friends are already saying that the team I cannot speak about will beat my beloved Pens......

I am excited. Watching the Pens play and dominate since the trade deadline is just awesome to watch. every player is giving it they're all and playing like it's playoff time already.

More nervous right now, everyones expectations are so high, including myself i can't help but think the team might not put out the requred effort cause we look unbeatable on paper with a healthy lineup.

Let us not forget the Caps have been beating up on teams in maybe the worst division in sports.

Great question. I'm more nervous because I do have a high expectations for the team based on what they've shown. I think I would be more excited proportion-wise if they were more healthy.

Nervous because of how the last 3 postseasons have gone...I won't be "excited" unless we make it out of the first round convincingly.

Excited. This should have been a poll btw. ;)

The Pens record this year speaks to how good the team is (and I recognize there has been lots of puck luck). The added skill players at the deadline add to the depth and enhance the team.

Once you've pushed all the chips in, and the Pens are ALL IN, its time to sit back and enjoy.

Nothing else you can do except mind your juju, polish your mojo, eat your filet-0-fish, watch your lebowski, etc, etc, etc

Like ever postseason, I'm going in expecting the Pens to win the Cup, and I'm excited about that possibility.

If the Pens get into an elimination situation, I get a little nervous I guess. I don't really get too high or low on them. Love arguing about how good or bad things look, but in the end, I'm pretty much over a win/loss as soon as I turn the tv off/get home from the arena.

I'll most certainly have the shakes when I find out who the pens are gonna play and it will start at the pregame for game 1 too

Nervous because we have yet to see this team with everyone in the lineup and how they will all play together.

i am always nervous about the playoffs no matter how good our season was. I am nervous we wont live up to our potential or we will not be healthy enough. This team should be one of the best Pens teams ever if its firing on all cylinders. I just hope they play like this when everyone is back.

I wont be at ease ever unless we are up 3-0 in any series and the first game is always the worst because a game 1 loss sucks. This team needs to redeem themselves from last season and remember why they won so many games this year.

This, and hoping to be able to see everyone in a game somewhere along the line. Also nervous because it is the playoffs and all bets are off. Remember last year when a number 8 played a number 6 for the cup? Number one seed means absolutely nothing.
