I know it's a surprise, but I developed that opinion all on my own.

Evan Gattis and Francisco Cervelli are apparently great pitch framers.

And now Cervelli is out with a broken hand after being hit by a foul ball. Coincidence? I think not. Just another example of the Man trying to keep the Yankees down.

I can't wait for Cervelli's replacement to have amazing pitch framing numbers.

Maybe you didn't read all if your above link. Baseball Prospectus has already helped MLB out by having Chris Stewart as one of its "Frames of the Week." So maybe MLB had Cervelli injured so they could get up and coming pitch framer Stewart into the mix.

Nooooooo...I was planning to go to that game.

By the way...the Braves decided to remind that Nats that despite being crap for the past week+, they are still in control of the division. :pop:

I'm still going, but those seats lose appeal in an afternoon game.

Hanrahan blew another save as well. Gave up a run on 0.2 innings. He did through a wild pitch through one of the advertisements though.

Hanrahan is also hurt again. I've noticed no one is saying the Pirates should have waited to trade him in-season.

kenny the kangaroo was far from pleased whenever the hanrahan trade happened. of course, we all knew he was going to be a total trainwreck and melancon and grilli would combine to give up 1 run in the first month of the season or whatever. and stolmy has been good, too.
