Wait... Did Kip actually use the words "neck meat"? That's hilarious. Hey everyone! I'm a fraud! So please stop using neck meat!

that looks cool. though since it's a movie about crime being legal, i find it a little ironic that most of the movie involves people sneaking around to commit crime. seems like they kind of abandon the premise.

Well the house was locked down so they seem to be sneaking around trying to stay off of the security cameras.

I really didn't care for it. I thought the villain was a goofball, the plot was contrived, and there were some things that were ridiculous even for a Bond movie.

Spoiler:
Also, it went all Batman at the end (dead parents, butler who looks after the kid, manorhouse).

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way(read as: pay) to watch it. Its worth a netflix. It definitely had its moments, but I wouldn't feel like you were missing anything if you never saw it.

trying to decide between that and the impossible, have both on netflix now. my vote is for happy people a year in the taiga, but I think I'll be watching that one solo.

The Impossible is definitely worth a watch. Not without its flaws, but they're heavily outweighed by the good. Naomi Watts is incredible in it.

Watched Clear and Present Danger for the first time in years. Not bad at all, very enjoyable, and hasn't aged much...

Well, the computer scenes are funny - monochrome CRTs, DOS prompts, birthdays for passwords, and so on.

Django, Arbitrage (should have been nominated and won for best picture over the extraordinarly overrated Argo), End of watch, Flight, The Sessions.....best movies of 2012. A year that gave me hope in a industry that has produced nothing but vapid, CGI garbage for years

Finished Django. Once they got to Candyland, it got pretty good. No interest in watching it again, but I'm glad I did.

Looper... pretty damn good. it had it's flaws, but i really appreciate the fact that a futuristic time travel action sci fi movie has pretty much its entire third act take place on a farm.

HP and the Chamber of Secrets - good movie

happy people a year in the taiga - its very interesting and quite good, just not my favorite Herzog doc. I recommend one of his latest "Into the Abyss" which is about
Conversations with death row inmate Michael Perry and those affected by his crime serve as an examination of why people - and the state - kill.

Did anyone see Jack Reacher. I'm intrigued because Tom Cruise is in it, but know nothing about it. Just see it keep showing up on xbox.
