They're locked into Wed-Fri due to events at Consol

First time in a long time that I have been 110% excited and 0% nervous of a Penguins team entering the playoffs. I have full confidence that this team will steamroll to the finals.

I see no holes in this team in terms of player personnel. Everyone is buying in and for an overwhelming majority of the season they have been playing playoff hockey.

I could careless of these next 2 games, I want the playoffs to start now and I don't care what team they are playing. Bring em' on!!

A lot more excited than nervous but still both. Excited because how good this team can be and the potential great memories they can make, nervous because I want them to win so bad that I'd be really disappointed if they lost in the first couple rounds.

I'm nervous, especially for round 1.

We will never have this collection of talent again, especially with the "core" in their prime. The Pens will be cup contenders for as long as Crosby is here, but this is just a freakishly deep team. If they dont' at least make the finals, I'll be disappointed.

If they don't improve on what LA did last year, this season is a failure.

I have game 1 tickets, so I am ALL EXCITED. This is probably the best team we will ever see in the salary cup era, even you aren't just a Pens fan. That being said, anything but a cup will be devastating. There is waaay too much pressure on this club right now to win it all.

I'm a wreck throughout the playoffs, expectations of this team or not. I was paralyzed with anxiety during the 2001 run with Hedberg. I remember that clearly. Last year was particularly nauseating.

It's also weird being so anxious/excited about something that you can't really share with those around you. They'd be all like, "What's hockey?"

Excited

Excited for every opponent and challenge. Never look at it in the way of who is favored and who is the underdog. I just look at it as this is the Pens opponent, now, how on earth do we beat them? Just have to find a way.

And if they make it to the next round, it's that same mentality all over again.

I took a shot in the dark a few weeks ago and requested Wednesday off on the chance thats when the Pens would start. Didnt realize Consol was taken Tuesday & Saturday and they were locked in for Wed/Fri. I'll get about as much done on the personal day as I would have it I would have worked on the day of Game 1

Excited.

Only way I get nervous is if I see turnovers in our own end like the Montreal and Filly series or really lazy backchecking.

I really think the combination of the short season and the work ethic and hunger of all the additions wil prevent those things from happening. Also don't see a Halak out there this year.

More excited than I have been for the playoffs in a very long time.. no backing in for Iginla this year, he actually has a legit shot at a Cup.
