The real thing starts soon, but it was a great season for the Pens -- 36 wins from 48 games (only 5 by SO/OT) and no OT/SO losses. What was your favorite moment?
1. Sutter wins the pond hockey game in OT.
2. After a poor start, 4 unanswered to beat the Flyers.
3. The Sutter game. Great effort by the team to come back and beat the Bruins.
4. Awful moment early, but with the winning streak on the line, down their best player, Iginla's first game, Kunitz getting tossed, etc, the Pens held off the Isles and stayed unbeaten for the month wih their 3rd shutout in a row.
5. Down 2-1 in the 3rd, Crosby and Malkin do Crosby and Malkin things. Malkin with the goal of the season (?) on his return. Sid with the go-ahead goal and great celebration moments later.
6. Other -- I'm sure I forgot something huge. Just the first few that came to mind.
The Philly game was huge for a number of reasons... I think it really set the tone for both teams for the rest of the season. However, I was out of town for work and didn't get to see or listen to it.
Probably have to go with the comeback against Boston. That was huge.
With so many great moments this season though, it's tough to pick one.
Game against Tampa was a catalyst of sorts; our stars outshining theirs, a tight match with a bit of everything, and the defense holding on in a time that they were struggling to do so. This and the MTL pond hockey games were great starts to the undefeated March.
The Philly comeback. The Boston game was great, but that was a game that I'd have been ok with losing, we had had some chances that just didnt go earlier in the game. But if we had been blown out by the Flyers that would not have been ok, at all. That comeback win was huge.
Ranger game won in OT with 50+ shots on goal. Boston comeback; took your breath away. Last game Sidney played, against the Jets. He was on a mission to get C Kunitz and P Dupuis points because Jarome Iginla was on his way. He was playing out of his body as he did; 2010 prior to WC.
For just a fun moment; B Morrow and PK Subban penalty box antics.

All great moments I forgot, thanks. Morrow might be my second favorite after the Boston win.
Also, Waking Up With Iginla was a great time as well. I went to sleep thinking Boston had him.
I vote for the Boston comeback. At that point, Boston was probably the consensus top team in the conference and looked to have solidified that by beating the Pens on the road, even if the Pens outplayed them most of the game. The Pens coming back to win that was a big statement.

Yep, and there aren't replays for the goals, especially the big ones. Nitpicking, but it seems easy/cheap things to improve that have been the same for years.
the flyers game. 2nd place: every time that canadian guy comes into chat and starts fights about why canada is awesome and USA sucks. gets kicked every time.
