My thoughts do NOT reflect this board, or the great fans in it. It doesn't reflect the Pens thoughts or the great players on the squad.
This is a single fan from New Jersey who roots for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
And you know what ? He hates the NY Islanders. Everything they stand for, their fans, their players, and their coach.
February 11, 2011
That's all that needs to be said. This clown show called the Islanders deserve no respect. NONE.
Never been more proud of the Penguins then their reaction to the cowardice of the Islanders that day in the '11 season. And yes, I will concede they won the game, and the brawl that day but most people win fights when the first punch is while a back is turned and a cheap shot is laid out.
I hope, I really really hope they remember that day, and the Penguins do what they do.
And that is win, and dominate. This is hockey, and the Penguins are an elite team.
What other motivation is needed then to utterly obliterate this B-league hockey club, and their dying franchise ?
No mercy, no respect for an organization that deserves none. Send the clowns back to clown town.
Beat them without mercy. Embarrass them. Make them a team that is known for their gimmicks and recent failures.
Beat them so bad that Long Island doesn't accept them back (not like they deserve a hockey team anyway), and beat'em so bad they have to fire that blankity blank blank coach.
I hate the Islanders, I want the Pens to beat them on the ice, with skill and with unbridled physicallity. Make them wish the Winnipeg Jets were just a little better so the Islanders didn't have to miss their annual golf outing that starts today.
So, Pens ...... guys ..... don't worry about being arrogant! Walk to the ice with swagger, and beat down those who should not even have a chance out there, with confidence and disdain.
Morrow, Glass, Cooke, Murray, Kunitz, Duper, Orpik ?
No mercy. NONE
To the Pens fans, sorry to be so aggressive, arrogant, crude and nasty. It is few and far between that I get in a state like this, but I hate that organization and what it stands for, and after February 11, 2011 (the final straw so to speak) I have not been able to let the grudge go away. I have been waiting for this. Nobody cares about a dog and pony show that was February 11, 2011, they care when their team gets embarrassed in the playoffs. So, badly that Brooklyn has second thoughts about bringing that schlep within their borders.
