I love pulling up an emulator and running through some of the old classics now and again. No cool setup like you're rocking, but still fun.

hey nan hurry up on this http://www.retrogamenetwork.com/2013/04 ... n-housing/

The listing has over 40 beautiful pictures of everything included, and even if you have no plans to bid, should definitely check it out for that aspect alone. You really cannot possibly find a better looking copy of the game anywhere. The cartridge was listed on GameGavel this afternoon, at 5:29pm. The opening bid for the game is $12,000, with increases of $250 required. There is no reserve price for the listing. The auction is scheduled to end on Sunday, April 28th at 10pm Eastern Time.

I got MOH: Warfighter as my free gift for buying SimCity, and I hadn't played it much since getting it.

First off, I don't usually like single player parts of FPS games. I usually get lost or stuck somewhere and go play multiplayer. I know, I know, most of these games are linear in gameplay, so it's hard to get lost. I just get bored and quit.

With only a couple hundred players online for PC (as opposed to 20-30K for the 18 month old BF3), I decided to give the single player a shot.

It's actually pretty entertaining, and several times I absentmindedly tried to pause the cutscenes, like I was watching a movie. I ended up missing the third period of the Pens game (I intended to play for the intermission) and kept on until after midnight.

There was a cool, if random, mission where you re-create saving the Maersk shipping captain from Somali pirates. There were some cool chase scenes in Pakistan and the streets of Dubai. Now I'm hunting a Bosnian arms dealer...

2 things:

The Medal of Honor games were good not great but the lack of a multiplayer that wasn't BF3 or CoD type caused it to fail.

and

I really want a new Wing Commander Saga. I am playing Wing Commander IV and it reminds me how much I loved it. PLEASE WORLD!

I did a quick search for MP servers for MOH:W for PC. There were 26 people playing on U.S. servers.

Fail city. No wonder they shut the title down.

It's too bad, because the orignal Medal of Honor Allied Assault is/was one of my favorite games. The sheer thrill of recreating the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan was really, really, cool back in the day.

Allied Assault was really the first pc game I ever played. I have it and the Breakthrough expansion, Call of Duty and United Offensive, and CoD 2.

United Offensive was probably my favorite multiplayer game. I loved the Cassino map. I did multiplayer a bit on CoD2 as well. That was the last PC game I bought. And sadly nobody is playing either of those much anymore.

I've never signed up for Xbox Live. I did a free trial weekend and I was miserably bad on MW2/MW3 and Blops

With MoH and BF3 having the modern warfare ( :face: ) style, Medal of Honer seems rather redundant and pointless. If MoH was still a WW2 game, I think it would have better staying power.

That's a good point - they should have stuck to the WWII era as their niche. Perhaps mix things up with a Korean War game, and maybe a Cold War "covert" war game, like Indochina, and the various clandestine wars pre-U.S. Vietnam war.

Korean War is just about untouched. It would be a great setting, too bad it doesn't have the pull the other wars of the century had.

I would personally like a WWI game.

I've used ISA Mapsat to map each of the bodies between Kerbin and the sun, and I also touched down a lander on each. Eve (the Venus analog in Kerbal Space Program) is very purple:

Unlike Venus in real life, Eve has a tiny moon called Gilly, which is the smallest moon in KSP. The gravity is so light a good fart would probably be enough thrust to get into orbit. You can see Eve in the background:

The sun is big and bright from Moho (the Mercury analog):

I wish they would make another game strictly in the ilk of RE4 or 5.

I'll be honest with you, I think MOH does a better job of 'modern warfare' than Modern Warfare. I'm really disappointed that EA ramped back down on the reboot, as I really really liked both of the two new titles. They were much more interesting than MW, better thought out and had more realistic (if that's the word) gameplay. MW became a carnage-fest as the series developed, and that's just not fun for me. (I don't do multiplayer)

It was tough, but I restrained from excitebike and mario world, need N64 games and soon. Do you think you would be able to download gameboy games on the VC and play them on the gamepad?

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures is a pixel-heavy 2D platform adventure which stars everyone's favourite grumpy gamer, complete with Power Glove and Zapper. It's been confirmed that it will be coming to modern Nintendo consoles — which basically means the Wii U and 3DS, presumably via their respective eShop stores.

Mega Man 9/10 were virtual console releases that were fashioned as 8bit games.

An HD remake of Duck Tales is coming this summer too.
