I think my knee is finally in good enough shape to handle something like this.

Doing mine on Sunday with some people at work.
Did a 9k yesterday back home. I'll just say my time disappointed me. Finished about 5 min slower than I expected, which may have even been worse if I didn't keep pace with a friend of mine for the last 2 miles. Because I wasn't happy with my time, I ended up going for a run this morning almost immediately after waking up. Wasn't quite the 5.5 mi that I ran yesterday, but the pace was completely different.
I'm guessing it had to do with the 35 degree temp yesterday.

I'm really dissapointed with my training for this. WD isnt real tough and I did an 8 mile Mud on the Mountain in Nov with little training so I hope I'll be okay, but I havent really done a ton of running in the last few months. Still havent gotten my knees checked out and they've been giving me problems. Weather is supposed to be great, 85 and sunny.

The one for Oklahoma on Saturday was a nice 40 minute set.

Think i might try that this week. I recently got one of those door fram pull up bars, it's probably my favorite possesion right now.
PensFanInDC wrote:I did it in the order listed. When I started a set I just cranked out as many as I could do until muscle failure. After that it was sets of 10 until I was finished. Running a mile immediately after 300 squats is a surreal experience...
