Every time we look to order it, its already 9PM and we decide against it...that and we aren't going to waste 3 hours on a weekend to watch it. Not sure if i'll ever see it unless I have the place to myself some weekend and am bored.

Elaboration on Ironman 3.

Spoiler:
God that third act was bad. We have Pepper, look she's getting the treatment, you better work for us. Oh **** a flying suit. Eff your suits I'm radioactive. Pepper fell, but wait she wasn't squirming with pain when last we saw her, the treatment worked. No one in their right mind thought she was dead. Oh yeah I have a ton of Hammeresque robot suit warriors. Didn't they do this in the A-team? Oh **** Pepper is a badass, Ironman isn't needed, look at the CGI. Just messy. If they wanted the tension of Pepper maybe being dead they should have never showed her receiving the treatment and deus ex machina'd it in. That's the only way to create real tension in that scene. Other than that, shiny suit, oops cut in half, shiny suit, oops cut in half, shiny suit on you blow up big.

Have the blue-ray, but haven't watched it yet.

What is recommended -- theatrical or director's cut?

I think the main difference is that the theatrical cut added an unnecessary voice over at the beginning which kind of spoils big plot points later on.

I must have only seen the directors then, I don't recall a voiceover. I love that movie though.

[REC] 3: Genesis

Really disappointing. I loved the first two but this one missed the mark. If you are a fan on the series there isn't much of the feeling from the first two in this film.

How did one hot hand grabbing the arm of the suits disable them? Especially Iron Patriot was disabled in that manner but Rhodes was still inside with fully functioning compute display but couldn't activate other parts of the suit? WTF.

She looks older, but I thought she was just younger in general. I guess she was in Jerry McGuire.

Edgar Wrights The World's End trailer. I loved shaun of the dead and hot fuzz, so this will obviously be something special. Looks great.

Watched Jack Reacher. I really liked it, had a lot of fun watching it, great entertainment. Werner Herzog as a bad guy is boss.

Paul Greenglass, of the last two Jason Bourne films and Flight 93, is the director. Excellent.

at some point in the future, i'll probably have to sit through "the great gatsby"

in related news...at some point in the future, i'll be playing angry birds on my couch while sporadically glancing up at my TV for about 143 minutes.
