What Yinzer things do you do?

Postby slappybrown on Thu May 09, 2013 11:58 am

I drink IC Light. And not only at bars, I buy cases of it for home.

I own multiple Terrible Towels and will bring one to Steelers games.

I play poker in church basements.

I belong to "social clubs."

I wave my Terrible Towel sitting on my couch watching games outside of Philly.

I've also played poker in church basements.

My wife and I actually go play Bingo from time to time for funzies.

I used to play at a fire hall in Ebensburg. It was amazing, you could completely clean up.

Still say pop, sweeper, and buggy.

I have an entire bookshelf devoted to Pens, Steelers, and Pirates memorabilia.

I'll read the PG or Trib online over local newspapers.

I listen to the WDVE Morning show, Stan, and Madden on my phone using iHeartRadio.

I have WDVE programmed as a preset on my car radio even though I am rarely in West PA.

Wave my Terrible Towel in South Jersey.

Eat at Primanti's and Eat n Park when I'm in Pittsburgh.

Back the Steelers no matter what.

Drink IC Light while at Primanti's. (Brought a 30-pack back to Jersey last month.)

Despite leaving Pittsburgh decades ago, still slip into the dialect...Pahr Play, Dahntahn and such.

I didn't know buggy was a Pittsburgh thing. Thats for the shopping cart, right?

I have sarcastically used slippy so much over the past few years that it has basically come into normal use. Never used it when living in Pittsburgh.
