Yeah, watched it. Was happy for them. Was rooting for them or the country girls. Too bad the one couldn't go bog swimming.

Agree, Max was a dbag. His wife was ok, but I'm glad they didn't win because of him.

Mad Men was good. Marie Calvert and Lady Olenna Tyrell would be interesting sparring partners.

yep...ted was a clown who shouldn't be taken seriously for about two thirds of the episode, and then in 5 seconds, his story becomes serious. that's the worst thing about that show. you can't change tone like that mid-episode.

Scam City on National Geographic is a interesting show. The host goes to different tourist locations around the world and exposes pickpockets, taxi scams, and schemes designed to fleece tourists of their money. The most recent show was in Prague......I will never ever go there.

it's definitely felt off this season, I think they do a very good job when they continue on with the more serious episodes that continue storylines from years past. I don't mind when they throw in a "fun" episode, but there have been more than a few times where it seems like they are out of ideas.

Yeah, that's what it is. I'm getting the same feeling as with HIMYM. They're standing in place and seem to be out of ideas on how to make it interesting. When the show started there was some tension and a story about her mom's death, but since then it's been mostly inconsequential episodes. It seems like any other cop show now.

The playoffs have certainly curtailed by normal TV viewing. I am behind on most of the shows I watch.

Watched this week's New Girl last night. Funnier than many recent ones.

Mindy - DVR didn't keep it long enough. Will have to watch on Hulu.

HIMYM this week (something old)

FYI - there is a 1 hour episode kind of like "behind the scenes" and then there is a 1 hour actual finale episode. Plan your viewing/dvr recording accordingly.

Did you see the latest episode? I remember reading that they were going to make the seasons last episode where it could be a fitting finale but also could be continued. It was exactly that, pretty much.

Spoiler:
Jeff is graduated and going to go be a lawyer and stop by and check in on the rest of the group still in school. They could easily have him take a couple classes for whatever reason if they wanted to, or take the group out into the "real world" more now that Jeff has graduated.

Apparently CSI:NY got the ax yesterday. A shame, but to be expected, as whenever shows move from another night to Friday, they are being set out to pasture. Seems it lasted longer on Friday than many expected. They went out with a good episode that could serve as closure if it was the last, way back in February.

Watching He-man s2e7 the good shall survive. the bee people voices are so bad that they must have intentionally tried to do the funniest voices possible. By believing that it makes it so much easier to watch.
