I thought The Office did it perfect. I took the last 3+ years off too but this made me realize just how much I loved this show.

Yes you should. Everyone should. Doctor Who rocks! But I would recommend starting the whooooooole list of episodes with the latest doctor. So that's starting from 2010. At least start at the beginning of this current season, since he got a new companion (girl) now. I got my mom into it. I told her don't mind the funny looking monsters and concentrate on the story telling.

Ditto. I've seen like a few minutes here and there while changing channels and felt the cast was the worst on TV and I never found anything funny in what I've seen. Heeeeeeeeeey, don't jump on me anyone. You can enjoy it, it's a free country.

I thought the finale was fantastic. It was great seeing some of the old cast members back. Seeing some of the flashbacks, etc.

I'm satisfied.

I agree. The last few seasons were rough, but they hit a home run last night. They couldn't have ended the show any better.

Just read a recap of The Office finale. I watched every episode until about 1/4 of the way through this season and couldnt take it anymore. Sounds like the finale was awesome.

Creed's fate is the best. He was by far my favorite character.

The season started off slow, but I think it got pretty good about 1/2 through, and it actually sort of reminded me of the peak of the show.

While the last 2 1/2 years were mediocre at best, the show went out on a high note IMO.

The Office finale was great. Everything you could ask for really. Made me want to go back and start the show all over again. Lots of good memories from my time watching the show. I started watching it late, used the DVD sets to get caught up and then watched religiously on Thursday nights until a major change in my life resulted in me missing the sixth season finale and ultimately not seeing another new episode until last night. Truly a fantastic show. :thumb:

To add to the discussion earlier in the thread, off the top of my head the only TV show I have watched from start to finish is The Shield. Everything else has been abandoned midway through or I was playing catch up from the start.

I've noticed as of late, discovery seems to be playing only a fraction of the theme songs on shows... Very noticeable on Deadliest catch and Sons of Guns (hell, the don't do this at home dumbass warning is longer than the title sequence now). Not sure if this applies to all shows, but it bothers me for some reason.

It's not like CC really pushed when it was on. I wanted to watch it but could never find when it was on and the reruns were of episodes from 1999. Handled very poorly.

Why would you ever complain about that? Lost still has the best theme ever.

I can't believe its not in like 12-15 seasons. It seems like there are a million episodes out there and that i've only seen one or two episodes twice.

Why does every big reality show have to have a British female host?

Also, wow does Jessica Simpson look awful.

And what kind of jackwagon wears shorts with a gray dress coat, bowtie, and black loafers?

(Random questions as my wife watches Fashion Star)

omg, I'm sooooo angry I could spit. That's one of my favorite shows. But it's been on for a while now and I'm not sure what else they can show. But they better do a satisfying end.....
