How about Alex Cobb's outing last night:

13 k's in just 4 2/3 innings.

4 k's, 0 walks, 0 hits, and 1 earned run in one of those innings.

Tonight will hopefully be the first time this season that the Braves lineup is healthy. The team will not be healthy for a single game this season as Venters just had Tommy John surgery.

I was actually just thinking about those first 11 games when the braves were good.

Do you mean the first 11 games when they were 10-1 or after the 11 game win streak when they were 13-1? :pop:

But yeah, the wheels came off after the pirates had their way with them.

I think Heyward will come back(first game back tonight) on fire and with McCann back this week too, they'll go back on a tear. They have a heavy home schedule coming up. They have played more road games than anyone else has at this point. Already have 26 road games out of the way. Just have to make sure Justin doesn't run face first into a wall and they'll be fine. :pop:

Twins played Braves in Atlanta last night. First time Minnesota has played in Atlanta since the 91 World Series, which means it was their first ever visit to Turner Field.

Cole Hamels is 1-8 with a 4.43 ERA. Perhaps even more incredible, the Phillies have scored a measly 20 runs in 69 innings by Hamels. That is a new level of bad run support

Will be tough to sustain this. They need Tex and Jeter to come back and be productive. Same with Granderson (again). If that happens and they're starting pitching maintains what they've done, then they could make the playoffs. Pineda is a wildcard in there as well. The only part of the team that I'm confident in is the bullpen.

What the heck is going on in Seattle? They sent Montero and Ackley to AAA....man, that organization is in some trouble if those two don't pan out.

The Mariners' AAA team scored 25 runs last night -- more than the Mariners have score in their last 8 games combined (24)
