bye-bye Dan Bylsma

Postby lemieuxReturns on Fri Jun 07, 2013 10:55 pm

Just want to take this opportunity to say thanks for the cup and I hope you have a successful career somewhere in the western conference.

Has to go. Enough of the playoff failures. Especially this year, with this team. To get swept and only score 2 goals the entire series is laughable. The arrogance of the coaching staff to refuse to make any changes cost this team. Hopefully Shero/Mario don't have the same arrogance and identify that a change is needed.

There are many veteran solid coaches available this off season.

I think there's a really good chance he goes. So frustrating to go three seasons in a row where you should at the very least make it to the Stanley Cup finals and don't. I'm not saying he should necessarily be fired or shouldn't be fired either way, but I think he will just from the sheer frustration that will come from the city. Something has to change and it won't be Crosby or Malkin.

Hopefully they get someone with some real experience though. No rookie coach from Wheeling BS.

He should have been fired after the Flyers series.

First time I thought Keith Jones 100% nailed it.

He has to go.

-thinks putting vitale in will give us some big faceoff spike, which spits in the face of simple mathematics
-never dresses depres, despite being clearly impotent at offense
-thinks wednesday's loss was a success
-our 3rd line in the last 2 games
-should have been fired last year

it's not "bylsma's fault", but he did nothing to help this team.

Thanks for the cup in 2009 Dan.

I think he could be a good assistant on the Olympic team, Americans. Then the head coach of some dumb team like the Panthers.

No more messing around. Need a serious coach now.

They really do, because the Crosby/Malkin era is rapidly facing a closing window of opportunity. What an incredible roster wasted, once again.

8-7 in the postseason with this team. Unreal.

Dan Bylsma: Coming up short [of Stanley Cup] is no question disappointing. No question you’re going to look at this as a missed opportunity.

Someone getting embarrassed on the 2nd most biggest stage in the sport, or someone finding out that their wife ate the last piece of pizza?
