This Bruins team would have beaten the 2012 Penguin team, hands down. But this is a different team. Everyone said the Ottawa series would be close, low scoring games, and that Pittsburgh would not be able to score on Anderson the way they did against Nabokov.
The likes of Wade Redden and the other no-name rookies the Bruins had on defense may be able to compete against the Rangers offense, which consists of Rick Nash and a bunch of 3rd and 4th liners, but it will be a different story against a Pens team who can not only score all the way through the lineup, but play physical as well. I think it will be a close series with close scores, but the Pens can win it in 6.
