Ommegang has announced their next Game of Thrones related beer... Take the Black Stout.

They better not miss the chance to make IMPerial Porter.

Drinking an ESP from "Black Mesa" out of Oklahoma City. Tasty w/o being overbearing. I'll definitely order it again here in OK.

Founder's All Day IPA is pretty good. As the name sounds it's very drinkable, but if I'm looking for a drink that I want to drink a lot of them I'm going with something a bit easier on the wallet.

I'm pretty sure that I'll never go to Kalamazoo, but this is an interesting gimmick:

So, another night another Irish Pub in Tulsa, this one in the "Blue Dome" district. McNellies.

They have a WIDE variety of Draughts. Tonight's first choice is a Belgian - St Bernardus Abt

Very dark, but tasty.

Tried a couple new beers at Penn Brewery. First up... Faking the funk. Meh. Was basically just a sour tasting Penn beer. No more, no less.

The star was a combo effort with the Arsenal Cider House called. Arsenal Kaiser Hop Cider (shows up as Kaiser Cider on Untappd). I've never had anything like this before. Cider, but with a bit of a hop kick. Not overbearing by any means though... It was a good balance. It was expensive, $9 for a glass, but it was great. Probably the best new beer I've had from them in a long time. (though perhaps not really beer - still great)

Just found out there is a bottle shop in Kill Devil Hills that has "the great wall of beer"... Oh man. Didn't think it was possible to get more fired up for vacation, but there it is.

Picked up a case of Spaten Optimator. I haven't bought a case of anything in a long time, but stopped at Hartwood Beer on a whim and on the way to Upper Crust pizza.

Optimator is good, but I don't think I could drink an entire case of a double bock. One now and then is enough for me.

Had a Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye...yummy.
Then a Souther Tier 2X Steam...meh. I don't think I'm a big fan of steam beers.
