Crosby/Chara

Postby DudeMan2766 on Fri Jun 14, 2013 7:56 pm

Heres why the whiny baby Crosby dared to go after Captain Toughnuts who's 9 ft taller than everyone else. Chara blatently punched Sid in the jaw. Granted most will probably think this is nothing or say Sid probably should have left the shield on, but I think thats pretty low. Might as well go after a guys knee his first game back or hey, punch Marc Staal in the eye. Chara's like the kid in my Middle School who was freakishly bigger than any normal 6th grader so people thought he was some tough badass, and he was an awesome basketball player, even tho he just stood underneath the hoop and rebounded his 4 or 5 shots he missed because noone else was that tall. Its toward the end of the video btw, and I dont have audio so I dont know what the TSN guys are saying about it.

Wow, that's incredibly low. Chara should be suspended for that. Seriously.

Biggest scumbag in the NHL that always seems to get away with everything. Like Oveckin's 'passion' only Chara's done it for ten years.

I've thought for a few years that Sid should give the finger to this so - called face of the nhl deal.
I'd rather he get edges and play like lemieux~ claude.

Chara~ 7ft pile of blank... told the panel or one of them... "was I called for anything?" "how do you know
that arm is mine?" Such a .... !

Kind of a D-bag move, but that doesn't change the fact that Chara made Crosby carry his jock strap around for four games.

That was cheap, dirty, and just down right low... But not suspendable, Sid chose to remove the jaw protector and I am sure the doc told him he could take a hit like that.

Wish the jolly green giant played hockey... Shero get to work!!!

You don't get to choose when you can and can not wear it. He was medically cleared, he had to take it off.

Chara got away with one there - and somehow he's getting away with quite a bit of diving, even drawing penalties at times...

You think he'd do that to his countryman Marian Hossa? I don't think so. The guy is a scumbag and I've never liked him one bit. You think being 6 foot 9 he'd just wait until Crosby, 5 foot 10, would be allowed to at least defend himself. But no, he punches him in the jaw while Bergeron is holding down Sid. What a gutless coward. **** him. Go Blackhawks.

When Gary Roberts sucker-punched Franzen in the face the first game Franzen returned from a concussion, most of this place was ecstatic.

Some days you're the dog, other days you're the fire hydrant. It's a matter of perspective and sometimes homer-ism.

Thems the breaks in the playoffs....Have to not let the cheap shots get to you. Sid has been around this game long enough to know better...Chara was trying to get under his skin to get him off his game. It worked. Sid needs to learn to deal with this stuff better and not be so emotional. He is the captain, as he goes, so goes the team...

Ummmmm someone punched him in the jaw... whether or not Crosby even had a broken jaw before that , you do not walk away from a punch to the face in hockey. Sorry nope. Your post makes me question your sanity.

Thank you for questioning my sanity :)

Point is Crosby can't lose his composure and get off his game. That is what Chara/Marchand etc try to do. And after this many years he needs to skate away and more importantly draw a penalty and score a power play goal.

Point is the Bruins got in his and the rest of the teams kitchen....

Anytime someone punches you in the face you are going to be upset, hockey game or not. I think that the idea of Chara trying to re-injury Sid is is most disappointing. Crosby is the Captain but I wonder why his teammates did not defend him? Maybe opposing teams would not go after Sid as much if his teammates offered some protection. That is one of the things that bother me about this team.
