I don't know...I thought that was pretty entertaining for a 0-0 game. Italy should have scored a couple in the first half, not much happened in the second, and Spain should have scored a couple in OT. Having Balotelli might have been enough to swing things in Italy's favor.

80.000 fans singing the Brazilian anthem after it was supposed to be over was pretty special.

Brazil seems determined to pick a fight after every foul. They're looking like the Flyers of hockey.

Deeply annoying.

That said, Spain is very very lucky to still have 11 players.

Agree on both accounts. Spain has been close a few times to plays that I thought could be interesting what the ref would decide.

I think Arbeloa should definitely have been sent off for hauling down Neymar. Neymar's theatrics are terrible, though.

I agree. I definitely have no love for Neymar, but that play was extremely risky.

:fist: That's what I was thinking. Spain is used to teams being scared of them and trying to bunker, but Brazil is attacking them, and they have no idea how to respond.

Italy outplayed in the semis and should have been up a couple goals at the half. This is hardly shocking.

What's up with the pricing for the Riverhounds v. Wigan friendly? I was thinking it would be cool to go and expected prices to be higher than for a normal game, but the cheapest tickets for an actual seat (i.e. not standing room only) are $40, not including ticketmaster fees. That's as much as I paid to see the Barca v. Chivas friendly in Miami a couple years ago.
