Oh well, even the Cards have off days.
CIN has been PPD. Even if the Cards win tonight, the Bucs will still be in first by a game.
Have a great 4th, everyone.

Not sure how you can be upset when we're 10-2 in the last 12 and gonna finish this homestand at least 4-2.

kovyfalcon, I didn't mean to give the wrong impression. I'm not upset; yes, this has been a great stretch. I just can't stand the Phils. It's also a little frustrating to see the O go cold, but it happens.
Now that I've said that, we've got two more runs on the board. Maybe I have a reverse-jinx going!

I know he's only been back for two games but Hurdle made it sound like they believe in him as the primary RF and if he can maintain that average over the next month it reduces the need for another bat quite a bit. Although it doesn't solve the lack of power production from that spot; but perhaps with Wandy out and Tabata back the focus does switch to SP at the deadline rather than the right-handed power bat in RF.

This team's weakness is hitting. They need more hitters in general and right-handed power in particular. I think they have the arms but need two bats at minimum.
