I suppose WVU's trips to Lawrence, Kansas and Ames, Iowa to see mighty football powers KU and ISU are more impressive.

Who mentioned the Big 12?

I'm just pointing out that it's more than a bit disingenuous to be taking swipes at the Big East for programs like Rutgers and USF when the ACC has even weaker programs at the lower end.

However, if you want to start a ACC v. Big 12 discussion, I'll be your huckleberry.

It was a jape. Because I am a Pitt fan. And you are a WVU fan. And it is fun to make japes.

I'm actually back in NY this week. Headed back to Tulsa on Sunday. This time I'm scheduled to be there for two weeks.

Unfortunately that only takes me to the middle of July. I'm not sure where this contract is headed from there.

I have been spending a lot of time in the Texas/Oklahoma area recently and if that continues, then yes, absolutely, I'm hoping to attend a couple of Big 12 games if I can pull it off. Unfortunately, I expect WVU to be completely outclassed in the Big 12 this year. If they win four Big 12 games I'll be impressed.

I missed this when it came out.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I don't think Shell has hit rock bottom yet. Until he does he's just another Brian Davis/Jason Gwaltney.

If he's ready to give 110%, then I'll take him with open arms.

If you guys need a good laugh, check out the comments section of this artcile. Apparently Tino lead a 75 yard game winning drive to lead his CFL team to victory this weekend. These people love him. Some good quotes...

Don’t know if he has the same moxie but that Sunseri kid reminds me of Jeff Garcia

Sunsori makes quick decisions and gets the ball out. Reminds me of Willy to a certain extent last year and how he quickly climbed past others on the depth chart while exhibiting similar traits.

Sunseri - a young guy with a bright future in the CFL.

Sunseri is the real deal! Hope Riders keep this guy around. I can see him pushing Drew Willy for backup. Agree with first comment like Jeff Garica in the works. Would be nice to see Sunseri play with first team offense next Thursday against Calgary.

agree with SENSATIONAL showing of this sunseri kid...showed passion @ qb position...excited about offensive potential of this team, nothing less than 1st place boys!!

Start Sunseri next week and let him play until there's a reason to pull him. Showed good confidence now give him some time and see what he can do. He reminds me of Russell Wilson in Seattle last year so let him grow and develop.

Tino was never in a position to succeed from the moment he arrived at Pitt. I can't think of a worse coaching situation over his tenure in the NCAA. He was never good but he was never as bad as the reputation he got wih Pitt fans. I think he deserved a shot as an NFL backup and I hope he eventually gets there.

Tino is one of the worst QB's I have ever seen play college football, and there have been many. Guy was just awful.

I don't think he was that bad, but he crapped the bed in any pressure situation at the end of the game that I can remember.

Yeah... that was the biggest problem. He always came up small when it mattered most.

Yeah, I can think of 3-4 worse QBs at Pitt in the last 10 years...he wasn't bad, but wilted under pressure for sure.
