Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale would be good. Had it last night. It's very dry and doesn't have a ton of depth. Would make a good session beer.

Got to try this on Sunday:

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27039/16814

The #1 rated beer on BeerAdvocate.com. It's only available within 30 miles of the brewery. It's not a very potent, in your face kind of beer. Very subtle. Smooth finish. VERY tasty. $100 a case...

I need to get into some Founders, besides their breakfast stout, I haven't experienced that brewery yet

Definitely one of my favorite breweries. Don't think I've had a bad beer from them yet, and hope to one day have their KBS.

You're late to the party on this... C2I and I have been touting this one for awhile. :slug:

That's awesome though.... where did you get it? Drink it straight from the can? I've got three cans left that I'm spreading out over the summer.

My brother just returned from vacation in Vermont and Maine. He and his family toured a bunch of breweries up there. I drank one from the can and one from a glass so I could take a look at it.

I don't read this thread much so sorry for the secondhand news :fist:

Glad you got to try it. There's a lot of junk floating around in it, so it's not the prettiest beer. That's one of the theories as to why they say to drink it from the can.

Did you get to try any other VT beer?

Think it's only $72 a case from the brewery, and they are 16 oz cans. Either way, still pricey, but worth it.

Yes, lots....

....that would be why I can't remember what they are.

One of my brothers collects beer bottles. He has over 1300 different bottles from 82 countries (including North Korea, and no, it's not called Kim Jong Ale...). He has to drink at least some of each bottle for it to "count". When one of us finds a stash of stuff he hasn't tried yet we make sure to pick some up and try it together. Since our other brother just toured a bunch of breweries in probably the best craft beer area in the world we had quite a few to try...

Can anyone recommend a beer distributor near peters township? Moved out of pleasant hills and I'm therefore too far from duffys :(

That's cool. That is exactly what I am doing now for about the past 18 months. I have about 200 bottles, so it has been an adventurous (and expensive) year and a half for me. My problem is I'm already trying to go for hard to find stuff and neglecting everyday, plenty good beer. Although I guess that's not really a problem since I already don't know what to do with the bottles that I do have.

I think you should recycle those bottles and collect the glasses instead.

I am trying to do glasses too, but I actually think bottles look cooler. Glasses are useless (they don't come with beer in them) and they get gross when you display them.

I do want to get one of these at Giant Eagle before they run out.
