It depends. I mean, Manborg is intentionally cheesy, and it's great. But there was no cynicism in it. That's my biggest issue with these syfy movies is that i kind of feel like they are more a paint by the numbers product rather than a project someone is passionate about.

i wanted to watch a thriller tonight. maybe something new like gangster squad.

i settled on one of my favorite summer movies - Twister. a slick, smart, adventure movie.
