The schedule's not very friendly for out of towners. I'm looking at the final 3 games of the season.

I had a tough time deciding when to visit the "Burgh" for some games with this schedule. That 3-week hiatus in February made it difficult because I prefer to make the trek to see three games close together during the colder months and not too late in the season (in case I want to go to the playoffs in April). Finally decided on three games in 7 days time (12/16...Leafs, 12/19...Wild, 12/21...Flames). And I think I have finally convinced Mrs. BEPF to come with me, although she will not be attending all of those games. Been trying for years. Now if I can just get her to wear some Pens garb. :pop:

I scheduled the trip to be in Tampa when the Pens are there in October. Excitement.

Doesn't look too bad travel-wise.

Four in-a-row away near Christmas, but it starts in Ottawa and ends in Jersey. Not much travel

Four in seven days against Nashville, S.J., Anaheim, and Washington. That could be a bit brutal

The flip-side is a four-game home-stand in six days against Tampa, St. Louis, Phoenix, and L.A.

Watch out for St. Louis, though. http://deadspin.com/martin-st-louis-does-not-skip-leg-day-1310303406

I love that the Pens are Eastern-centric.
