Morbid Angel are also hitting Peabodys in the Mistake By The Lake and playing their entire Covenant album live plus "fan favorites" on Nov 16th. Hopefully they realize that there are no fan favorites on their latest abomination.

I'm way interested in the Nov 25th show. Three bands I like alot. I would go to the Trivium show just for Trivium, don't care much for the other bands.

I refuse to support Killswitch Engage since Howard Jones got canned.

I prefer Jesse over Howard. Not that I don't like Howard, but when I first started listening to KSE Jesse was the vocalist, and Alive or Just Breathing is still by far my favorite KSE album. I do think Howard has much more vocal range though overall. Jesse doing Howards songs you can tell he struggles with the new range, but the older stuff Jesse still kicks ass on.

Plus I don't think he got canned, I think he just wanted to leave or it was mutual, but I honestly don't remember.

Sounds like I'm going to Pittsburgh on the 25th...

LOVE Devildriver. The swing they have in their music is awesome. Trivium...eh.

I had never heard of SoundCloud before. Seems like a pretty cool way for underground musicians to share their stuff.

So you supported those last two completely unmemorable and stale last two albums they put out with Howard? They lost their balls sometime after The End Of Heartache and recently discovered them again with Jesse back in the fold.

Im sorry but KSE with Howard is just better. Jesse can't sing at all during Howard's non screaming vocal parts. But hey to each his own...

I'm currently in a Love hate relationship with Dawes.

I really like a couple of their cuts but I have this nagging sense that I'm going to get tired of them pretty quickly.

Anyone ever hear of the band Karnivool?

Someone just introduced them to me the other day with a video for "We Are" from their newly released album:

Australian band that was described as a similar sound to Tool. I'm not a huge Tool fan, but I definitely dig their sound so I gave it a try. LOVED this song, so I moved on to their previous album "Sound Awake"...God this thing is so good. I can't put it down:

Cool. One of my pairs is 219 row a.

I had seats in row a to see The Who @ Consol last year, it was fine. Probably a bit more leg room than rest of upper bowl rows.

I had a hell of a time getting PJ seats. I was 2nd in line at Giant Eagle and the dude in front if me purchased 4 but he was fumbling around with his wallet so it took longer for my turn. So when my turn came up and the old lady doing the computer said only tickets left are behind the stage, I let the lady behind me claim those seats. So without tickets I sat in the GE parking lot and just hit reload on the Ticketmaster app on my phone. I HAD floor4 seats but the server messed up. The best I could do is 218. But I figure its row a and there should be more leg room, so im happy to see my 4th PJ show.

I've never done the point-of-sale ticket buying thing. Do those places have 'faster' or more direct access than a normal user would off their website? I always figured I could check out on the TM site a lot faster than some person could at a live ticket place, especially like the scenario you mention above where a jabroni screws things up.

Sound Awake is a modern masterpiece of alt/prog rock. They're also very killer live. The new one doesn't stand out to me as much, but as a metal fan it's also more laid back than I anticipated after their earlier work. If you really like the singer's voice, he's in a softer rock band called Birds Of Tokyo whose, once again, first few albums were really really good but I'm having a hard time getting into their newer stuff.
