Good draft selection, standard bare fare in terms of food though.

Had brunch at E2 last weekend, my friend used to wait there so we got treated real well. But even aside from that, it was a fun place. GF got the fritata and I got the omelette...i made the wrong decision on that one. The barry white donuts were out of this world though.

I almost went in there on Sunday. Thought it was closer to Trader Joe's, but realized once I got out at TJ's that there was no easy way to backtrack.

anyone been?

Cure is presently my favorite restaurant in the city. Top notch and inventive every time. They have a liquor license now and mix some good drinks, but obviously the cost is much higher now than it was when BYO.

Industry - Really like this place. Good burgers. Extensive bourbon list and a good beer selection. They do the wood-burning gimmick to infuse mesquite or apple or whatever smoked flavor into your bourbon (you'll do it once just to try and never again). Food is upscale bar. Good place to get wrecked.

Kaleidoscope - Underrated, small menu and tucked back behind Butler towards the river. Solid dinner, you won't regret it. Very small in size as well.

It looks cool. I keep meaning to try it for lunch. Any time we go to Bridgeville though it's usually for Burghs

It's barely functional on my droid. For whatever reason, it's nearly impossible to scroll down the page.

What market niche were they filling?
It seemed like people just went there for dessert.

That's the only time I heard people going there. I went there twice, both times for dessert. Was grimy.

It's an eat'n park with beer. It was one of like 3 places in squirrel hill where you can get a beer and watch a game.

My girlfriend in college worked there, seemed like getting stiffed by CMU students was a common complaint...so I guess CMU was a large part of the business.

Apparently a "Wings Over" opened in the South Side. Loved that place when I was in Saratoga Springs. Anyone been to Wings Over Pittsburgh yet?

kenny the kangaroo went there twice. the menu was gigantor and just meh. there are a ton of interesting places to eat in sq hill and this was not one of them. but like so many yinzer institutions, it has outlasted its usefulness. kenny the kangaroo always wanted to go to that kosher grocery store next door but never got around to it.
