No joke...rumor has it he was at the Greek Food Festival in Forest Hills yesterday.

I believe it.

Once I get home I'll post a pic of the million dollar belt. Ted would wbe pissed if he saw the condition of it. There are a few "stones" missing and looks like somebody spilled a shot on the back of it.

I admit that I don't follow the indies whatsoever, but is Generico's gimmick change really as big of a deal as the Internet makes it out to he?

I almost feel like when he comes up they're gonna try and get him over without the mask and if/when he does get over and makes a turn they might let him mask up.

He has a much better chance getting over without the mask. Aside from Rey, I can't think of any wwe wrestler who got over with a luchador style mask.

That's pretty much what I mean. They might let it happen ala Cody Rhodes a couple years ago.

I just turned on the RAW replay and the ADR Sin cara match was on. I watched the replays, I rewound the DVR, I have no clue- none- how Sin Cara hurt himself there. It doesn't look like his wrist came in contact with del rio when he dove thru the ropes at all and it doesn't look like he landed awkwardly. And what was with Del Rrrrrrio? Was he trying to stay Kayfabe and play if off? The ref had to get physical with him twice to back off when he knew the match was over because he legit injured himself. Or maybe he just didnt care and that's why he gets punched in the face backstage

i think there would be an issue of ownership of the el generico character if he used it in the WWE. It's too goofy a gimmick to really be taken seriously at that level, too.

kind of hard to say what his current character is. He's basically been shown as the anti-cesaro on nxt, in he sense that he's a worldly guy who speaks several languages, but isn't a jerk about it. He seems to have been fast tracked on NXT, and i really can't see him staying down there for much longer.

I just wish they'd let him use the BRAINBUSTAAAAAAAAAAAH as a finisher, but it's a head drop, and those are no-nos.

Those two work well together.

Cesaro is sooo good. Shame he's shackled with a gimmick no one gives two **** about.

El Generico.. er Sami Zayn is awesome too. Hopefully he gets to the main roster sooner than later.

I wanted to ask him where the stones were, but you know the story with Virgil: get pics, ask a few general questions, and get out of there before he goes deep with the sales pitch.

I will say that he has dropped the prices this year. Last year it was $20 for a signed pic, $20 for a pic with the belt. Now it's $20 for a pic, $10 for a pic with the belt, and he'll do $25 if you want the signed pic and a pic with the belt.

kinda quiet on the chikara front lately. The "Wrestling is..." promotions seem to have started having iPPVs, which is pretty much the same thing, but without the storylines established in chikara.

Icarus, one of Chikara's wrestlers, has been both conspicuously absent in the Wrestling Is... shows, as well as vocally campaigning to bring chikara back, posted this link to an online petition on his twitter and the official chikara boards. Interesting to see if this leads to anything. signing it probably couldn't hurt, even if you don't care if chikara comes back. (i, of course, do.)

Awesome. I never had a slice of pizza that filled me up after one slice. Wish I could remember who was selling it. There was another place on the end as you approach the festival that had a good pulled pork sandwich.

Great match from Cesaro/Zayn. Thanks for posting.

I can't wait to see Generico against top cards if he ever makes it to that level.

How's his mic skills?

I find it hard to believe that's the actual Million Dollar Belt. How would Virgil have ended up with it? They used it for the Ringmaster gimmick well after Virgil was gone and now it's probably sitting in some vault at WWE headquarters. That's probably one of those $400 replicas.

No way that's the original. That has to be with Dibiase. I bet Austin's belt wasn't even the original.

You can buy them all on wwe.com no way its the real deal. Vigil can't rub 2 nickles together to pay for an authentic.

He isn't terrible on the mic, but he's spent like all his career as a guy who did comedy promos. He needs a little work. Not a lot.

Yeah, it was a definite replica.

The stones were missing, there was something spilled across the back, and if you look at the back of the strap behind the big $ and the smaller $ on the right there's a chip taken out of the plating on the strap.

Ted Dibiase Jr left WWE (announcing it with a YouTube video.) Not surprising. Maybe he'll join Virgil.

The bigger surprise was that he was still on the WWE roster. 8-)

I hadn't heard his name at all in 2013.

I thought for sure that he'd be the break out star of Legacy. Turns out he's incredibly boring.
