He went 1.11 in my rookie only draft. That was like 3 weeks ago. I was hoping to get him at 3.01 and traded for that pick for that reason. Was shocked to see him go there, so, yeah, the hype train is moving on him.

I'm super happy with the draft I had last night. 12 league. half point PPR, 6 points per TD. I had 4th pick. The guy with 12th pick and I swapped 2nd and 3rd rounders

1. Foster (pick 4)
2. Lynch (pick 13)
3. Bowe (pick 36)
4. D. Wilson (pick 45)
5. RG3 (pick 52, we were down to basically him, vick, or romo here)
6. T.Y. Hilton (pick 69)
7. Ben Tate (pick 76, I had to take him here, couldn't risk the long turn around for the next round)
8. Mendenhall (93)
9. J. Gordon (100)
10. F. Jackson (117, wanted Moreano here but he went 2 before)
11. C. Palmer (124, RG3 insurance, Zona will be chucking it a ton)
12. R. Broyles (141)
13. Gresham (148, I'm gonna play TE by match ups)
14,15 K,D doesn't matter

Ended up not playing due to not enough people wanting to join our league. And I think I'm perfectly fine with that. My excitement level for this season is pretty low.

Well that's just silly.

It's not that crazy really. There is very little talent left after the 8th round this year. By the seventh you should already have most of your starters.

I drafted him in the 8th in my 12 team league, and already had white, welker, and miles austin. I'd rather use a pick for his potential then just get an average TE.

Aint that the truth? By about the 7th round this year everyone was going up to the podium with no idea what to do and mostly just taking the "best available" as ESPN ranked them. There really was nothing left on the board by then after the keepers, starters and a few couple decent bench guys were picked.

Man, talk about the year of the running back in drafts. Look at some of these DPs in the latest (and final) CBS expert mock.

19/first 24 are RBs.
Lacy 2.10
Bernard 3.04
Brees 3.11/Rodgers 4.04
Vereen 4.06
DRich 5.01
Ingram 5.09
A Brown 5.11
Tate 6.05
P Thomas Pierce Powell B Brown Redman 8th
LSH 11.02
Helu Pead Michael 11th
Ryan Williams Blount Alfonso Smith (drafted at all in 12-team 15 round)

And you guys are taking issue with Thompkins in the 8th?? Get aht.

I just read a column from Matthew Berry this week, he was basically saying you have to go RB - RB.

My draft is this weekend. I get to keep Daryl Richardson and Josh Gordon for my last two picks in the draft. I have the 9th pick. I'm hoping that I can get Forte there, then who knows what comes back around. I'm hoping everyone is on the RB kick and I can grab rodgers or brees on the way back, the other option is Graham in the second, Gronk and Tony Gonzales are being kept, so there's nothing else worth drafting really. I'm not going to reach for one of the Lacy/Bernard group in the second, but if Gore or Sjax fall to me in the second, i'll take on of them. I just don't think getting someone like brandon marshall or julio jones is worth it in the second round.

We have a 10 team draft at my work QB/3 WR/2 RB/TE/K/DEF.

QB: Brees (3), RGIII (8)
RB: Forte (2), Lacy (4), Ball (9), Ivory (12)
WR: Johnson (1), Nelson (6), Shorts (7), Givens (10), Gordon (11)
TE: Davis (5), Gresham (13)
K: Hanson (15)
DEF: Baltimore (14)

Couldn't believe Brees dropped to me in the 3rd, nor could I pass up RGIII in the 8th.

You must be in a league like mine where the bench has to match the starting line-up.

See if the guy with D. Richardson or some other lower tier starting RB needs a QB. Your top 2 RBs are money though

is there any real reason to carry two kickers and two defenses?

If I don't have an elite defense, sometimes I"ll carry two so I can play matchups...I've never had two kickers before though except for one week when my top kicker is off...

Who would you list as the lower tier starting backs? The league I am in the guys always veto the trades before they go through. I liked the fact of having two good starting QB's to play matchups. I know I made a mistake there when the other guys were not taking their second QB's till 3-4 rounds from the bottom.

I drafted AP at 1.1 and Matt Forte at 2.10. Brandon Marshall at 3.1. Pretty pleased with the first three rounds for sure.

just picked him up as I only had one TE (Witten) and quite a few long shot WRs that I didn't mind dropping (Kenny Stills)

Dropping Danny Woodhead to pick up Hillman from the Broncos who was just named the starter at running back. Than going to start him as my flex over J. Rodgers and M. Austin is that a smart move?

Id be pretty surprised if that lasted. I dont think theyre going to have a valuable running back outside of garbage time when they leave the no-huddle and ball is likely in fulltime. I dont think this update is much of an update at all.

Yeah I'm leaving Ball as my flex in a league where I have Hillman and him. I think Ball should get goal line work

Decided to keep Woodhead and not to try and pick-up Hillman. Who would you start as your Flex week one Woodhead, M. Austin, or J. Rodgers? Also who is the better option at tight end for the season Pettigrew of the Lions or J. Thomas of the Broncos?
