I've never advocated overthrowing the Syrian government nor has anyone outside of McGrahmn.

You might want to check what Senator Casey has had to say about the subject .

Another bogus self defense claim here. An officer on medical leave gets drunk at the bar with his friend. They get into a physical fight (looks like mutual instigation), and the cop shoots the unarmed guy 6 times.

He's atleast getting charged with homicide, but i'm curious to see if we're going to see more cases where shooting someone is acceptable conflict resolution.

Hopefully we can get this down to making any physical assault as conflict resolution go away so it doesn't escalate to the point where someone gets shot either in legit self defense or just being an idiot.

Terry Jones is an idiot but why should anyone get arrested for threatening to burn Qurans? Would anyone bat an eye about an anti-christian or anti-jewish group burning Bibles or Torahs?

If the answer is that he can't because it might incite violence would a Christian or Jew start murderous riots if their books were burned?

I bet if a Nazi group made it known they were going to go start burning Torah's in front of a synagogue...they'd get arrested too. I feel like it's a logical preventitive measure.

Yes, and to expect anything else would be wishful thinking. The only question is whether it will be in a CDU/SPD coalition or in a CDU/FDP coalition again.

What kind of a fool pre-soaks books for a book burning?? Everyone who's ever been to one of those things knows that half the fun is letting the crowd douse the offensive material in flammable liquid.

Are we playing "random fact"?

More than one company I work with last year instituted 28 hour work weeks for hourly employees and no part time employee can do two separate jobs within the compnaies.

Aren't people who blame Obamacare for their increased insurance costs doing the same (and much more loudly)?

As for the people you mentioned, they probably didn't have insurance in the first place and will actually have that opportunity once the AHCA is implemented.

I didn't think it was the best solution, but people should actually wait for it to be implemented before complaining about it.

Do you feel the same way about voter ID's?

I think the law has already had a significant impact on the way people are employed in this country, particularly at the low end.

i'd rather have better job security than health insurance, or real hours. edit: would it be illegal to make a deal with my boss that i be excluded from the policy in exchange for a full time schedule?

If there's more than 50 of you then he'd have to pay the penalty for not offering you coverage.

Since they delayed a major portion of the law a year are you not just as bad for sarcastically saying your premiums didn't go up?

And your premiums have nothing to do with tax dollars. Premiums are not the only dollars affected.

Finally, I fail to see how cutting some people's hours from 35 - 50/60 to 28 AND forcing a buy in helps anyone. A lot lost on this a bunch of companies that tried to do healthcare options (even if on a small scale like a Starbuck) are forward to back out if them.
