Based on everything I know, those 5 names get along really well. The xxx's must be evil bitter sobs.
There is no civil war. There is no evidence of a civil war. There hasn't been any team meetings banning rookies from playing ping-pong. Everything is okay.

Let's just assume there is a civil war going on.. it involves key "personalities".. who have LT contracts. Either it is vs. the coach or each other... what can a GM do besides start trading people to get them out of the organization.
Imagine what Iginla and Morrow came into last season that made them both say "um yeah, not what I expected, thanks but no thanks I'll go over there"...
Thinking back it really started to evolve in my memory around the time Talbot left and we got beat by the Flyers with him and Jagr.

Crosby is banging DB's wife?

The score in the grand scheme of things means little, but yeah. Minus the last couple of shifts in the 3rd... the effort and execution has been piss poor.

This is kind of how I feel. Maybe I'm just primed to feel this way by the Steelers. Obviously, I don't expect the Pens to be at the Steelers level of suck, but there a lot of parallels--finished last season poorly, didn't do much to improve the roster, looked pretty poor in preseason. There's no reason to freak out, but I don't see much reason yet to be optimistic that this season will be better than last for the Pens.
