Morrow was never really a guy built on "speed" anyway.

Instead?

No. I just try to never miss an opportunity to rag on glass

If I could trade them, I probably would, despite the fact that I think Morrow is worthless to this team. Glass is already there though. :pop: I actually think he'll be fine this year if he's played.

I would of made Morrow fit on this team somehow. For 1.5 he can play up and down your line up. Ok he isn't the player he used to be but looking at other players on our books he brings alot of different benifits to our team.

He would lower our average age, for example.

I chose option 3, none of the above. Morrow wasn't an either or scenario, if Shero wanted him on this team he'd have made it happen.

Not to mention that's an additional $200k they'd be over the cap...

On NHL Sirius radio this morning they were talking about the Morrow to St.L. thing. One thing they said that was interesting was that Morrow was close with Hitchcock and would be ok being a 3rd-4th liner and occasional scratch as long as he was with a coach he liked. They repeated that across the league, the impression is that he is just out of gas which is what a number of people, including me, kept saying over and over after we got him.

If we had to spend $1.5 million to get to the floor Morrow still wouldn't have been back.

More like Shero wouldn't even offer him a contract for Morrow to decline.

Regardless - him being here isn't an option so there's no point in arguing semantics.

For a full 82 game season, we will have enough depth at "Healthy Scratch" without him. Seemed like a good dude, I wish him well, but he doesn't fit here.
