Hold on to the ball or throw it away. Just as much him as the line.

Bingo. Ben knew he was going down, yet he refused to tuck the ball and just accept the sack.

The game is over if e gets sacked, fumbles, or throws te INT. he has to try and wrestle free tere.

It's a shame because Ben had put together a pretty fantastic game up to that point.

36/51 for 383 yds, 1 TD and a pick that wasn't his fault. His play was the biggest reason they were one play from tying the score there in the first place. And take either of the super big scoring plays the D gave up and this is a very different result.

Of course........ you can't do that. Because that's make believe. But for the first time this season I think the O looked decent and they took a positive away from the game.

I wouldn't say that pick wasn't Ben's fault.

They were in 'schoolyard mode' and his receiver (I forget if it was Brown or Sanders) stopped running inside to break outside right at the moment Ben started throwing. You don't do that. That's like stickhandling at the blue line and putting everyone offside; it's a basic rule that you learn at the earliest levels of the sport. To me that one was no different than the pick six last week when Cotchrey simply didn't make a play on the ball.

It was Sanders, and instead of trying to tackle the defender he threw his arms over his head and had a tantrum. Surprise.

Nice to see the booth give the ravens a timeout here even though they did get a snap off.

There's a very realistic chance that the Penguins get their first win before the Steelers this season.

Bills hold off the Ravens thanks to the 5th interception of the day thrown by Flacco. Elite.

Steelers still only 2 games back in division.

It's kind of funny to see people complimenting the line in a game where we gave up 5 sacks, several by guys who were untouched. I think all these years of garbage have lowered expectations quite a bit.

The line looked better in the 2nd when the Vikings went up 17, but that should be expected.

This Steelers team is going to break a lot of franchise records, and not in a good way.

Taylor dropped two INTs but that's expected if you've watched his career. His hands are awful, but that's not what has made him good. The fumble we didn't get hurt. Ben throwing the pick was a back breaker.

The Pirates make the playoffs for the first time since 1992... L.C. Greenwood passes away... the Steelers lose first 4 games of the season for the first time since 1968... the wheel of fortune is turning...

What does this mean for the Penguins?!? :scared: :scared: :scared:

The last year the Pirates went to the playoffs, the Penguins won the Cup and remained a regular in the playoffs for almost another decade. I think they'll be fine.

Jadeveon Clowney and Jarvis Jones on the same defense. 2014 will be awesome. 2013 will suck though.
