So far, he looks just okay. He was pretty weak last night. But we don't really know what we're going to get from him. IMO Scuderi brings more solidity to the blueline, and makes it possible, if Shero wanted, to move a guy like Martin or Orpik.
Anyways, it seems like the Pens are really toying with the idea of keeping Maatta around, despite the logistical odds stacked against him. That would mean someone else has to go. I think there's a case for considering moving Martin, if so.
If Maatta stays then Engelland gets moved. He doesn't have a role on this team with Bortuzzo able and willing to drop the gloves.
