so Kessel is the Leafs "Crosby" (isn't that sad?) therefore he's going to command "star" money. I didn't say I thought he was worth it. hell, 2 of my fantasy teams auto-drafted him and I'm thinking of trading him because I'm not convinced that I couldn't get someone better. comparing him to Crosby's cap hit is irrelevant because Crosby is making substantially less than he's actually worth. there's not a team in the NHL what wouldn't give Sid $10 M per year if he hit the open market. comparing Kessel to Perry is more reasonable.
