I find the Marshall drive-across-the-country storyline tiring. And a promo for a halloween themed episode in the middle of a wedding weekend that is otherwise in the spring? Yoi.

was jason segal unavailable for most of the shooting? that's the only possible reason i can think of why this arc is taking place.

I know he's wanted off the show for years to do films. He's turned down tons of work because of the show. I can only assume his stipulation for this season was "Im going to shoot all of my scenes in 1 weekend. Then Im done..."

I know its TBS and given the track record I certainly shouldn't be surprised, but if Pete Holmes has a show theres absolutely no reason why I cant get mine. Geezus... :face:

I'll definitely give it a whirl. I really enjoy his podcast on Nerdist, and his Batman videos on collegehumor are pretty good too (along with some of his other youtube stuff).

i heard him as a guest on a podcast once. i can't even describe how annoying he was. there's no need for anyone to be that big of a spaz.

SVU: the roast of Munch.
Spoiler:
Think they might have even had a clip of him from Homicide at one point (since Belzer's character followed him from Baltimore to SVU once Homicide was cancelled). With Cragen facing forced retirement, Ice T wanting off the show, it's got the makings of a February or March series finale. Save new blood, it's a dying show.

my gf is making me crazy! we've DVR'd all the episodes this season but I can't get her to watch them! something about wanting to watch them all together. wtf????

we do watch Blacklist every week though. if you're not watching this you should be. James Spader is the King of Smarmy.
glad we didn't waste time with Ironsides. canceled already along with Welcome To The Family.

Love The Blacklist. Got a week behind from traveling and just watched the Stewmaker episode last night. Yikes.

Hope it sticks around for a while.

Also saw somewhere that Fox has guaranteed Brooklyn Nine Nine will get the full 22 episodes. But for the life of me, I can't tell why. I watched every episode and I'm not getting attached to any of the characters except Andre Braugher and he's supposed to be the antagonist.

I saw the last 30 seconds that led into New Girl - looked horrendous.

starting to tie it all together nicely, I didn't see the Carrie storyline playing out how it appears to be... I knew it would last forever, but last weeks episode being Brody bunch free was a breath of fresh air.

Hello Ladies, the Steven Merchant show on HBO, has its moments. Cringe worthy awkward moments very much influenced by Curb Your Enthusiasm and of course, the original Office. Definitely worth checking out the first few episodes.

We've been enjoying it. This week in the hot tub was pretty funny. There are moments where I feel like the show takes itself too seriously and gets depressing in a way.

http://www.deadline.com/2013/10/abc-buys-dental-comedy-from-stacy-traub-brillstein-alzheimer-comedy-from-aaron-kaplan/

Also sold through ABC Studios is The Alzheimer’s Project, a single-camera script at ABC based on an original idea by Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment. Written by Sam Sklaver (HBO’s Bored To Death), it’s a comedy about a father with early onset Alzheimer’s trying to reconnect with his family. Kaplan is executive producing, with Sklaver co-exec producing. Sklaver, repped by WME and Wetdog Entertainment, is also developing Jenny’s an Idiot for Hulu.

This should be....interesting. IMO, it's going to take incredible writers to make this work.
