A poster at HFboards is trying to get a bus trip together for November 2 if anyone's interested: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showt ... ?t=1496707

I just bought a pair of tix for Pens at Columbus on Nov. 2 via Ticketmaster on the Blue Jackets website at face value (plus service charges). Didn't have to resort to Stubhub. There are a lot of tickets available on the website right now, including some in the upper bowl. No problem with having a Pittsburgh zip code.

I have a room at the Red Roof across the street from the Convention Center. We stay there every year for Pens/Jackets

It turns out that I can now make it to this game. If anyone wants to meet up beforehand, let me know. I live ~15 minutes walking distance to Nationwide.

Walk towards the arena, you'll see the exodus towards the bar.

From where you're staying, it's best if you take the COTA Line 3 bus from 3rd and Olentangy (there's a stop a little up 3rd Avenue, which is a block or two from where you're staying) to the corner of Nationwide and Neil (you can't miss the arena from there).

Would've told you to take the 2, but you're nowhere near High Street, or the actual campus. Unless, of course, you plan on making your way over to said campus area. In which case, take the 2. It goes straight down High Street.

No idea how you'll get back, though.

I decided not to go anyway, but i would not want to go and be outside of stumbling distance from the arena.

I could also probably run a cab service myself, for a small fee :pop:

Google is telling me the line 5 bus is my best option. IdK we might end up just driving too. Depending on if we have a DD

I'm part of the bus contingency from Pittsburgh.

We should be easy to find, just look for the obnoxious drunk fools.

Both work. The 3 just takes you to the Neil entrance. 5 drops you off on High.

2011 was hands down the most fun I've ever had at a game. Had those tickets way up top that they usually only open for SRO kind of seats or banquets they said. Each section was only 2 rows and beer carts and bathrooms were right behind us, no wait. Sadly the girl I stayed with last time is married and moved now, but we went to some bar by the arena that had $2 anything that pours for happy hour. Can't remember the name but it was sa-weet.
