Yeah, I've enjoyed the season outside of the Tara story line. That has been painful to watch.

I like the season, but LOATHE the Tara storyline. The sooner she (hopefully) bites the curb the happier I'll be.

The car chase with Adrienne Barbeau was a little silly with her outrunning the boys with a mini-van but it led to a better scene in the photo studio.

I like the show but it fell into a cookie cutter story mode.

1. Sons are in trouble
2. Sons have to help someone that needs them even though it will bring heat
3. Sons confront person
4. Car chase
5. Tensions are high
6. Someone dies

I would say about 80% of their episodes have at least a 15 minute segment that runs like that.

Tara's character is the only one worth cheering for. Her and the boys. Everyone else is a murdering gang banger. Its hard not to "root for" Jax but the bottom line is the only characters I really care about are Tara and the boys. They don't deserve what is happening to them and Tara is just looking out for her children.

Yep, it's laughable at this point because it's been done so similarly so many times. Every time the music starts, I just shake my head and can't believe they're doing it - again.

Tara knew exactly what she was getting involved with and she couldn't resist the allure of the bad boy and the lifestyle. She was perfectly happy being Gemmav2.0 until the Sons started being the victims and things started falling apart for them legally. As long as they were getting away with everything, she was happy as could be.

She's turned out to be just as sleezy and scheemy and backstabbing as the MC. A reference to Matthew 16:26 might be appropriate (as cited in 1776 for example)

Given her situation I think what she did was as best as she could have done for the good of her children.

You also have to know that, in any TV show or movie (save for a select few that are purposeful), I assume God does not exist in that world and therefore sometimes, like in Tara's situation, what she did was the best option.

Tara and her stupid hand bandage are still around.

Everyone EXCEPT Jax knows Tara faked it.

Jax still feels guilty about the shooting.

Some banger got smeared.

DA is gonna go crazy soon.

But I don't think there was a car chase this episode.

Overall, I enjoyed it.

Looked like a punch to the gut to me.

I think the final scene was an indication that the Tara story line is very important. Im not "a fan" of it as it's not the most exciting, but it's going to have bigger implications on EVERYTHING else that is going on.

The TAR-A story line is developing a little bit at time for sure. Bobby talking to her seemed to "show" her thinking about the other side instead of us having to assume that she was. ..and the way it ended I was waiting for her to just blurt out "i want a divorce." lol.

I swear I saw blood on that Clay scene. So did my wife. Maybe we're blind. It looked like he was tied down getting shanked. I don't really like how they make the club seem so small anymore. In the beginning seasons you had the sense that the club was a well respected and well feared MC with so much back. Last season is was like a gnat that could be stepped on by Pope.

I find myself missing the Niners and the Mayans also this season...

It is a good season though.

Just watched the preview frame-by-frame and Clay looks like he has some blood stains on his upper chest, but he is getting punched in the gut. Definitely punched.

Nope. That's the great thing about TV - you can root for the bad guys. (And Tara's no angel, either.)
