What makes this game worse than a usual blowout is having to listen to Edzo and Pierre.

Embarrassing "effort"

Loved everyone ganging up in Geno, who had a point, but no mention of Sid's Claude Rains impersonation.

Since Sidney is leading the league in
Scoring, he gets the benefit of the doubt

There'd be games like this coach said. Or something like that.

You think that's bad?

The Pens went 42:00 without giving a damn.

Maybe it's because Malkin has done absolutely nothing this year. Getting a secondary assist in a game in which we for blown out doesn't help his cause.

71 has been putrid this season. But we understand, it's because he doesn't have James Neal to play with.

Rangers outworked the Pens on every shift after 5 minutes into the game. Every shift. Mataa did not look ready for their two man fore-check... none of them did.

Olympic year Malkin. He will wake up as we get closer to the Olympics and then be OK.

I guess gearing up for the Boston Game showed them where the switch was and they just didn't turn it on last night. The Pens were taking 2-3 seconds to pass and shoot when they had to be done in 1 or it was blocked by a Ranger in their grill.

Too much time off?

Rangers come back and take the game over. Same script the Pens have followed every year in the playoffs since 09.

Yep. The ole' perenniel net presence absence that never seems to go away.
