I have the day off, so I went out for Lunch II and had a gyro and fries.

I am seriously considering a nap.

I was jw if there's a difference other than size. Is there an upcharge for adding those things you added?

The difference is that the regular baconator contains two regular sized patties, while the son contains two junior patties. No charge for the extra condiments.

For years, my goto @ Wendy's was the Big Bacon classic (which became the Bacon deluxe in its later days before being ousted in favor of the baconator)... which was essentially just a Single cheeseburger + bacon. I would prefer if I could get one regular patty as opposed to two juniors, but it is what it is I guess.

I am going to lunch soon and have an enormous craving for POPEYE'S CHICKEN. mmmmm. Anyone a fan? they have those cool Cajun fries. i like their tasty biscuits a lot. let's not forget mashed potatoes and gravy. that's all i get. screw corn and screw coleslaw. I don't normally like ranch, but that dressing somehow goes great with their chicken. my mouth is watering...

I love their fried chicken. My one remaining fast food vice.

Love the biscuits as well. And their red beans and rice is so good.

Lunch @ Hot Rods...

Cup of Buffalo Chicken Soup
Jalapeño Poppers

Simply awesome. Their buffalo chicken soup is one of my favorites, but the poppers were off the hook. Jalapeños topped w/ bbq pulled pork, topped with queso, served in a mini skillet. Soooooooo good.

I love Popeye's as well. It was an all too often lunch when I was stationed in Groton, but we never got sick of it. I think that speaks to just how damn tasty it is.

When I was stationed in Charleston we spent a weekend doing a fast food fried chicken taste test. Popeye's was the winner, though Bojangles provided strong competition and was the preferred biscuit. Church's Chicken is disgusting crap.
