Did your really expect prices to stay flat?

It would be nice if they don't go up EVERY year....

I think you're going to have to wait until the sellout streak ends.

If they bomb in the playoffs again, that might be all that is needed for supply to start exceeding demand for tickets.

You have to have a bomb in the playoffs after the waiting list is extinguished or close to it. People one the waiting list(at least the ones that realize and can afford the cost of tickets) aren't just going to throw them away when they become available. They've got a buffer where they can suck for a season and maintain a guaranteed season of sellout streak.

I'd complain but my tickets are the cheapest possible option and I like hockey, so I'll just keep on keepin on.

if they are going to keep spending to the cap and putting a team on the ice that can on paper contend for the cup each year i'll gladly pay.

that being said...the playoff ticket prices OUCH.

I think that my first year with season tickets they were like $16. $16.80 per seat per game is standing out in my mind...

That might be this year. Pens have been running ads for mid week Feb and March games. It's been a while since they've needed to run ads for tickets.

I remember getting "gold circle" seats once at the igloo for an Isles games. 4 of us 18 year olds with a phone at our seats to call for food to be brought to us

Just got the invoice. $49.50 a pop for last row in 210, Pens shoot twice.

Nearly $2,200 for full season.

Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhh. Not seeing this lasting much longer.

I'm glad I moved from double to single attack just for this reason. It was $23.75 a game to see the Pens shoot twice in the F-Balcony during Mellon Arena's final season. I can't see any justification for that amount to more than double in 5 years.

Over $6K for 2 seats in a middle Row of Section 202 - pretty much Center Ice. It says $73 per ticket per game. I have to look back, but that seems like a big increase.

I'm pretty sure these seats were $70.50 last season. $2.50 per ticket seems to be about standard for an increase when comparing to past season.
