I know it is, but it's too silly a term.

The post race Bode Miller interview was one of the most disgusting and classless display of interviewing I've ever seen. The NBC reporter clearly just wanted Bode to break down and she finally succeeded after multiple follow-ups about his deceased brother. NBC should be embarrassed and I hope they get blasted for that.

Absolutely. Myself and everyone watching with me said the exact same thing. That was just pathetic and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I had to turn the Bode Miller interview. It was awful, yellow journalism.

When she continued with "when you look to the sky..." I had visions of Jim Gray. The network needs a collective ghost chili enema.

This ice dancing commentator is pretty annoying, but she also seems to be making criticisms that the judges are picking up and dinging the skaters on.

Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of ice dancing, but when it's done really well, like they did, which was the closest thing to actually dancing-on-ice out of anyone else that went, it's fun to watch.

Here's the most despicable part of that interview. It happened hours ago. If it was live you might be able to excuse it just as a bad journalist but NBC edited it down to what we saw on purpose.

I'm not either, but I do find myself still drawn into the skating comps more than just about everything else.

I dont like most of the solo ice dancing/figure skating stuffas much, but the paired ice dancing is pretty cool sometimes. The coordination between the pairs is really interesting.

I don't think any of it was edited. Everything looked pretty fluid. The absurd thing is they decided to air the whole thing anyway. Both the producers and the reporter (still more so) were responsible for that travesty.

I keep hearing that the Games are perfectly organized. That should come as no surprise, as organizing mass events is something that autocratic regimes are generally very good at.

Bode Miller's twitter:

@MillerBode: I appreciate everyone sticking up for me. Please be gentle w christin cooper, it was crazy emotional and not all her fault. #heatofthemoment

@MillerBode: My emotions were very raw, she asked the questions that every interviewer would have, pushing is part of it, she wasnt trying to cause pain.

I still think any decent human being would know when enough is enough. One question about his brother is fine and expected. But four?
