Agreed - I was there too and it was depressing. So many pens fans in attendance but the Pens effort was just not there.

One thing that really stood out in person was how slow Pyatt is. Also, when you see them up close the defensive zone giveaways are maddening

Pens were listless, not a lot of shots either way(Crosby had zero), Zatkoff gave up some cheesy goals, HCDB not terribly displeased ... huh? (See Trib), Pens are officially ready for the playoffs.

That's a s***ty roster last night. Really really s***ty.

I didn't like the effort, but the loss was expected. However, our D shouldn't be this sloppy regardless of the remaining injuries. That's ultimately going to be our undoing, probably. And that's saying something when you look at out bottom 6.

I agree our lineup was crap, but I never go into a Penguin game expecting a loss (excepting maybe the end of last year's ECF). A huge effort overcomes lack of talent. There are a lot of players on this team playing for ice time - what were thinking?

Yeah, and let's not forget earlier in the year when they were playing with pretty much the same - if not worse - subs-of-subs all over the lineup and won plenty.

They had 2 good centers for most of that time. Without Sid or Geno this team is rightfully going to suck pretty hard.

Sloppy defense, can't exit our zone, can't establish any possession time in the offensive zone...same old same old.
