Two games ago, we thought the war against the Rangers was near to victory. Then, behind the emotion of Martin St. Louis and the Rangers' desperation, they have evened up the series against our hometown Penguins. Now, tonight, the Penguins head to battle one last time in this series.
Simply put, it is time for the Pens to either nut up or go home and golf. They think this is adversity? The Stanley Cup Playoffs are not even halfway over. You want adversity? How about the heroic Massachusetts 54th...charging to their near-certain deaths at Fort Wagner in July 1863. You may know them better as the regiment of volunteer freed slaves, led by Colonel Shaw, and portrayed in the movie Glory. Pens, you don't know adversity. Your only task tonight is to dispatch the blue-shirted ragamuffins and move onto face either Boston or Montreal.
Let's get this going...
As Denzel Washington says towards the end, "y'all the onliest family I got". When it comes to the Pens, there's no group of misanthropes, rabble rousers, and somewhat tolerable posters I'd rather ride into battle with than you glorious bastards. No one said this would be easy, but I have a feeling the CEC will be rocking tonight.
Tonight, we ride.
oh my lord, lord lord
Tonight, Dan Bylsma buys himself another two weeks (or two years, *snicker*) behind the Penguins bench.
oh my lord, lord lord
Tonight, Sid does something resembling a hockey gambit.
oh my lord, lord lord
Tonight, Lundqvist is finally able to shave that damned beard and use that $600 aftershave he's been itching to try.
oh my lord, lord lord
Tonight....we win.
LET'S GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to bring their best. Got to spend all night in Lundqvist crease. Make his life miserable. I'll take any penalties that involve running him over. Rangers power play isn't too good anyway. Rather those than stupid retaliation penalties.
Would like to hear some Geno and Sid-ney chants. Usually seems to get Geno going. Sid could use a boost too.

Well need you for game 1 of the ECF.
I'm ready to roll. I would have volunteered for Game 7 had I realized you guys were serious about letting Shaf take tonight. I thought you were kidding.
