Already miss hearing Bob Grove. I assume we'll be hearing Mike Lange and the Ol' 29-er on the radio feed.

It's a bit much to expect Crosby/Ovechkin numbers right off the bat. They both still could put up 100 points each their rookie years, but to expect excellence in their first period is a bit much. I was hoping for more but am not surprised. I didn't notice Eichel at all in his 6 minutes of ice in the 1st. They'll be fine.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a season opener. I predict the Stars' goalie will be Lehtonen a few goals.
